GS! Training
today we did gs training! with our coaches George and Marty. We had a few new comers in elite today!!
They did very well and fitted in perfectly, the newcomers did well in GS because they pushed them selves.
The regulars did well today too, because they pushed them selves as well .
Once we had finished skiing we had a 1mile run with Marty as a second part of our training. We do this every day to build up core strength. Afterwards we had video analysis with feed back from our coaches,
Then Lunch.
But after all out hard work we got the rest of the day off!!
so that was my day!

Sunny and Silly Slalom Training
21st March 2012
slalom training
Today we did some slalom training. George said I skied very well today as I had a good line. I need to stay closer to the gates so my skies are almost scraping the gates. We did not do timing today but we will in two days.
Tomorrow we will be visiting a historical city called Salzburg.

GS training
First today we went up the gondola and did some free runs on the blues, then we went down one of the blacks to reach the top of Tenladen. Today we did some GS training at Tenladen, with George and Marti. On the first run I hit a gate and my pole flew off at the top of the course and I had to ski the rest of the course with one pole. We only did six runs today because it was so hot! I hope tomorrow will be a bit cooler.

Race Day Number Two In Villars
Today was our second race day in Villars. We all had a pretty good day today. Charlotte and I had GS and Max had slalom. Today was one of the first days this season that I really pushed myself to win. Here are today's results, Charlotte was bib number 94 and the times were combined so Charlotte's first run time was 40.94 and her second run time was 40.44 so her combined time was1:21.38 and she was only 8.35 seconds of the winner which meant she came 5th, Max was bib number 51 and his time was 54.58 and he was only 7.44 seconds of the winner and he came 17th, today I was bib number 88 and my combined time was 1:13.03 and I won I was very surprised that I had won today but pleased all the same, the girl who came second was only 0.56 seconds off me. We are travelling home to Niederau tonight after prize giving.

very good race day in Villars
15th March 2012
Race Day number 1 in Villars
Today was our first race in Villars for the Aiglon cup. Today all minis, children and juniors raced on the same course, it was a GS course (but for us minis it was like a superG). Today I came 2nd and Alysha Brown(the girl who came first) pipped me by 2 hundredths of a second. Today was a good day all-round as Charlotte came fifth and Max made the top 10.
Tomorrow I hope to do as well as I skied today!

Scorching Hot Training Day
14th March 2012
Training Day in Villars
Today we did some ski training in Villars. It was scorching hot and it felt like the sun was shining brighter than it ever had before. We only did two hours today because we were really worn out. On the way back we took a wrong turning and got lost and had to walk into the centre to be picked up by dad.

Big Bad Banana Blunder
13th March 2012
Race day two
Today was our second race day. I didn't do very well, as I skied the wrong side of the second gate of the banana and I cried from that point onwards. I got a time that would have put me in third place if I hadn't skied out of the course. in the end I came 7th because of my final run. This evening we had prize giving and I collected my bronze medal for yesterday.

rumbling race day
12th March 2012
Race day number 1
Today was our first race day in Les Houches France. I flew down the coarse and bagged myself a third place. Third place is extremely good as this is the Inter School's competition and every British girls mini 2 competitor is there. Today Charlotte did very well and came 8th or 9th out of twenty-two girls. Tomorrow we will be racing on the children one girls course so I am a little bit scared but ready to rumble.

Time consuming Travelling
Sunday 11th March 2012
Travelling
Today we travelled for six and a half hours to reach LesHouches in France from Niederau Austria. On the way there we stopped at one of the most expensive McDonald's in Switzerland, today I ate a whole big bag of crisps ( I don't think I will eat all of my tea tonight ). We will be racing for two days in LesHouches and then we will be travelling to Villars for some more races, on Tuesday 13th March 2012.

Lovely Long Ski Day
30th February 2012
Long Ski Day
Today we had a long ski day with one of our coaches George. We did basic and straight forward training today and George said I did really well, as I always finished off my turns and I was very fast. We got home, had lunch, had video analysis and then had a free afternoon yippee!

Free Day
Today I did not ski as I had a tummy bug and a very bad cold. Charlotte did not ski today as she had a cold too. Harvey was the only one who skied as Max had a bad knee but he was teaching me kick boxing during the day so my cold was obviously not to bad (neither is his knee). Mr Collins gave me a fractions sheet for me to do I got stuck on only three tough questions!
I had an early night and went to bed as it is a big day tomorrow

world book day book review
1st march 2012
Today is world book day and Elite are doing a book review on our favorite book and putting them on our blogs.
Here's mine!
Dizzy is the story of a daydreaming twelve year old girl whose hippy mother shows up, after years of absence, and takes dizzy for the summer to experience her gypsy life first hand.
When the book starts off dizzy is waiting in anticipation for the only contact she has with her mother all year. Her birthday present is sometimes a dream catcher and other times just a post card. Either way she lives for the chance to hear from her mother "storm" who left her and her father when she was just four years old. But this year instead of just a letter she receives the thing she's wanted for years, her mother in person. Who not only missed her but wants dizzy to come home with her to her...well in truth it's just some hippy's convention. Her father, knowing how erratic and unreliable storm is, of course refuses. But early next morning storm informs dizzy that her father has changed his mind during the night and they have to leave before he wakes up. So they stuff her things into a bag, say a quick goodbye to a thoroughly hung over dad and hit the road in storms beat up mystery mobile. At this point in the story its pretty obvious that dizzy's just been kidnapped by her own mother, but dizzy blinded by love just doesn't know it yet.
This book gets a 10 out of 10 from me as it is amazing, I would recommend dizzy to casual readers and an age period of 12 to 15 year old's, this book is my favourite as it stand's out because it's a dramatic but a surprisingly predictable story
I did not ski today as I have a throat infection.
